TVEMA at largest transport forum in asia

As part of the Russian delegation, TVEMA participated in the 6th International Exhibition —Transport Logistic China 2014 which took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (PRC) from June 17 – 19, 2014. Transport logistic China 2014 showcased the entire range of solutions for transport, logistics, telematics, e-commerce, warehouses, material handling, and freight/passenger transportation. More than 500 exponents from over 40 countries took part in the forum which made it the most important industry event in the Asian region. European countries – Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, and Russia were represented at the exhibition at collective showcases. 

 

The Russian delegation at the forum was headed by Maxim Sokolov, the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. The showcase of the Ministry of Transport of Russia was represented by the Federal Agency for Railway Transport, the Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transport, the Federal Road Agency, the Federal Air Transport Agency, FGUP Rosmorport, and Avtodor State Company. At this forum, TVEMA was represented by the delegation headed by Evgeniy Yurchenko, the First Deputy General Director.

 

TVEMA products were demonstrated at the display of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport which was headed by Andrey Bespalov, the Chief of the Administrative and Personnel Department of Roszheldor. The Company solutions demonstrated included the dummy of the joint Russian and Chinese diagnostic railcar for the metros of PRC which only a few months ago won us the tender for the supply of diagnostic equipment to the Beijing metro.

 

At the meeting with the participants of the Russian showcase, the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation emphasized that the high level of the exhibition and the forum gives a hope for a fruitful co-operation between Russian and China for improvement of the transport infrastructure of both countries.

 

Today, TVEMA is one of three Russian companies which implements such co-operation in practice. During the exhibition, our delegation held a range of meetings with the management of metros and railways of PRC where the current and prospective joint projects were discussed.

 

The Company management considers that involvement of Chinese partners in the Russian infrastructure projects will undoubtedly give a powerful momentum for further development and strengthening of mutually beneficial co-operation.
